How to Request a Check Payout Using WePay

If you're an event organizer and need to request a check payout using WePay, you can follow these simple steps:

You should NOT link your bank account when setting up WePay if you want to receive a check. 

 

If you would like to request a check and have not previously added banking information:
 
  • log in at http://www.wepay.com/login
  • click the "Settings" gear-shaped icon
  • click "Withdrawals" 
  • click "Setup Recurring Withdrawal by Check"
  • enter the information as prompted (a check memo is just a note; it can say anything)
  • click "Save"

 

If you already have added banking details previously and want to update to check method, you will need to delete the existing bank account and then follow the steps above. 

To delete your bank account:

  • log in at http://www.wepay.com/login
  • click your name in the upper right
  • click "My Profile"
  • click "Bank Accounts" on the left
  • click the trashcan to delete the bank account
