Check payout is only available for events located in the U.S. using WePay to process payment with a U.S. bank account. Check payout is not available for WePay Canada.
How to request a check payout
If you would like to request a check and have not previously provided banking information to WePay:
- To get started, visit wepay.com and log in with your Ticketbud credentials. If this is the first time you're logging into WePay, you may need to reset your password.
- Once you're logged in, select the Settings gear-shaped icon on your dashboard.
- Choose Withdrawals from the left pane.
- Click the Setup recurring withdrawal by check icon.
- Fill in the required fields and save (a check memo is just a note; it can say anything).
If you would like to request a check payout and have previously provided banking information to WePay, delete the bank account (steps below) and then follow the steps above to set up check payout.
How to delete a bank account on WePay
- To get started, visit wepay.com and log in with your Ticketbud credentials. If this is the first time you're logging into WePay, you may need to reset your password.
- Click on your name in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
- Choose "My Profile" from the options.
- Select "Bank Account" from the left pane.
- Click the trashcan icon beside the account information to delete.
