If you're using PayPal to process payment for your event, you will be invoiced for fees incurred once your event is over. Fees are not collected automatically for events using PayPal. PayPal collects their service fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) on their end. The Ticketbud fee (2% + $0.99 per ticket) is collected by the invoice sent out after your event is over.
By default, the payout configuration flow for PayPal will prompt you to provide a credit card on file for billing purposes. This is required. The card on file will be charged for the invoice amount post event.
If you would like to update the card on file, this can be managed on your profile's billing page.
If a credit card is not provided or the card is declined, you will be sent an email notification regarding the outstanding invoice. In an event that the invoice remains unpaid, your Ticketbud account will be deactivated for further use until payment has been received. Rest assured, ample time and consistent outreach is provided to the event organizer to resolve the outstanding invoice.
