The send invites feature allows you to email your attendees an invitation to your event. If your event is invite-only, attendees who receive the email invite can only purchase tickets through the link provided in the email. You can send invites individually or in bulk via a CSV upload.
Send Email Invites
- To get started, sign up or log in to Ticketbud and create an event.
- From your Account Dashboard click on Manage Event to navigate to your Event Dashboard.
- From your Event Dashboard, select Promotions on the left navigation bar.
- From the drop down click on Send Invites.
- Click on the +New Invite button on the top right corner of the page.
To add recipients individually:
- Under the Add Individually tab enter the attendee's first name, last name, and email address. You can add additional recipients with the +Add Recipient icon.
- Edit the subject line of the email, if needed.
- Add a customized message in the message field.
- Click Save Draft to save your email without sending or click Send Invite if you're ready to send.
To add a bulk list of recipients via a comma separated list (CSV) file:
- Select the Bulk CSV Upload tab.
- By clicking on the Choose a CSV file button, you can upload a list via a CSV file. The file should contain columns for first name, last name, and email address.This format is required for a successful upload.
- Edit the subject line of the email, if needed.
- Add a customized message in the message field.
- Click Save Draft to save your email without sending or click Send Invite if you're ready to send.
You can view the invite delivery rate by clicking on the subject of the invite once it’s been sent. Use the icons located to the right of the invite to view the invite’s recipient list or resend the invite.
